Funds are needed for an engine replacement. I was using my work car, which today went out. My aim is to get my main car working again.

My main car had the engine go out some months ago. I've been using my work vehicle since then. As of today that now is out for the count. Normally a reaplcement engine for my main car would be $5K-$6K; my mechanic will do it for $2K (or there about). My funds are too tight to pull that off as I live on SSI retirement, barely getting through the month as it is.
I'm looking to see enough generous hearts helping out a little bit here and there
