Walking By Faith: Kenya Missions Trip 2026

I am so honored and grateful to share that I’ve been selected to serve on my church’s missions team traveling to Kenya in August 2026. This opportunity means so much to me, and I truly believe God has placed it on my heart for this season.

When I first gave my life to Christ and started attending church with my daughter, I wasn’t sure where I fit or how to serve. Through the encouragement of others, I stepped into children’s ministry, something I never imagined myself doing. What began as a simple “yes” quickly became something much deeper. I discovered a true love for working with children and a passion for helping them experience God’s love in a way that feels real, safe, and personal. Since then, my faith and calling to serve children and families have continued to grow.

When the opportunity to serve in Kenya with the Imani Foundation came up, I felt an immediate pull. I prayed that if this was God’s will, He would make a way, and He did. After interviewing, I was selected for the Summer 2026 team. With the full support of my husband and family, I’m stepping forward in faith, believing this will be a life-changing experience and a chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

During this trip, we’ll be serving children and families, supporting ongoing programs, and partnering with the incredible work already being done through the Imani Foundation. My heart is to love, encourage, and pour into the children we meet, reminding them of their worth, their purpose, and how deeply they are loved by God. I also know their joy and faith will leave a lasting impact on me.

As part of this journey, I’m raising funds to cover the cost of the trip, which must be paid in full by June 2026. I would be so grateful for your support—through prayer, encouragement, or giving. Every contribution, no matter the size, truly makes a difference.
