The Good Network exists to make sure the needs of our community are seen and heard. Through powerful storytelling and community connection, we’ve already witnessed how quickly people step up when they know how to help. These are just a few of the stories that show what happens when a community comes together.

Boise Community Rallies For Single Mom Of Seven

Right before the school year started, The Good Network rallied our Boise community to support a single mom of seven who needed help with school supplies. Together, we raised over $1,000, purchased everything on her list, and personally delivered the supplies to her family. The joy on the kids’ faces and the relief in their mom’s eyes reminded us exactly why we do what we do—because when our community shows up, incredible things happen.

Jett, a 10-year-old boy battling aggressive Stage 4 neuroblastoma, made the brave decision with his family to stop treatment and focus on one last summer together. The community rallied with birthday wishes from around the world, nearly 90 LEGO sets, and donations to help his family create final memories filled with

Macs Moment

Mac, a 93-year-old veteran from Boise, was egged by teenagers in an unprovoked attack downtown. The incident upset the community, who quickly rallied around him with overwhelming support, honoring him at a special event. The teens were identified, and Mac’s dignity was restored through the community's response, highlighting both the challenges veterans face and the power of community solidarity.
