The Canvas Local Art Bar needs lots of equipment, furniture, and supplies before we can open! Donations will help us get started and set us up for success in our first year.

In the spring of 2024, a hypothetical question led to an idea:
"What if Laura opened a paint-and-sip studio?"
After months of research and brainstorming, we created a vision:
The Canvas will be an elevated, community-focused art and gathering experience, by providing local beverage options, club membership benefits, and classes for various skill levels.
Local Feel – We will work with local vendors for beverages and snacks to keep our menus “Colorado Proud”.
Community Focus – The Canvas will offer membership benefits to encourage regular visitors. We will also provide classes at various skill levels to welcome beginners and experienced painters alike.
“Art is for Everyone” – The Canvas will market to those who fall outside the traditional target market for paint and sip businesses, by emphasizing an aesthetic and atmosphere that is overall more elevated, accessible, and masculine.
We want our supporters to be a part of The Canvas community from the very beginning. We want you to feel involved in a meaningful way, and see the tangible results of your support!
On this page we have listed some things we know we need. We will use your gift to us to purchase the items listed at the giving level, until our minimum start up needs are met. If we use your gift for something other than the item listed, we will let you know and share how your contribution helped us.
