Supporting a Black and Women-Owned Adult Learning Academy and Professional Salon and Spa, Brantford - Proposed Opening May 2026. 

I am Nicola Channer-Waite, founder of the proposed Couture De Beauté Academy, Brantfordś first Black-Owned, women-led adult learning college and professional salon and spa. Our mission is to empower adult learners from underrepresented communities, giving them the skills, confidence and leadership tools to succeed in Hairstyling, Esthetics, Nail Technology, Business Management and Entrepreneurship.

To meet the Ministry of Colleges and Universities' requirements, I must submit a letter of Credit to the Ministry, which requires having an equivalent of 60000 CAD in the Business Bank Account to open a GIC to qualify with the bank, to secure and improved leasehold infrastructure and complete my Doctoral Degree ( which is already underway at Capella University ), which qualifies me to teach the Business Management and Entrepreneurship Diploma Program in Higher Education - Luanching Post opening in January 2027.

• Graduates will leave college equipped to own businesses, manage salons, and enter leadership roles in the professional salon and spa industry.
