Volunteers of “The Outreach Spencer” are set to launch their free community meal program after the devastating flood this past summer displaced their efforts housed in the former Grand Avenue Community Kitchen. This new organization provides nutritious meals and fellowship - addressing both food insecurity and loneliness. Now that The Outreach has achieved charitable status and a great location in south Spencer, they are seeking support to equip their new space and continue this vital service to the community. As renovation to the new location is being finished, the team of volunteers are planning meals and preparing to open to the public soon, but your support is needed. Donations will help cover operational costs and ensure the program's long-term sustainability.
When the space is finished - meals will be served on Monday & Thursday evenings from 5-6:30pm at 1019 S. Grand Avenue (former Pizza Hut, next to Fresh Start Market) and are open to everyone!
