More Info

Meozer (formally Meezer) was adopted from the Maxfund in Nov 2019. She was 5 years old with some known health issues. When she was first adopted the medicine she was taking for her feline dermatitis wasn't effective. She was missing hair and scratching herself raw. Legacy Vet recommended Atopica; which she now takes orally every other day. She does get a 17 panel blood draw annually due to her weight, breed, and preexisting medical issues.

Meozer is a lover of plastic and unfortunately ingested some a few weeks ago which is why she was taken to VEG. At VEG she had imaging done where they confirmed she was starting to pass the non-food item (plastic) that she ate. Luckily there was no obstruction and no need for emergency surgy.  The imaging caught another issue though and that is the 7 bladder stones that need to be removed.

Meozer's vet, Dr. Kaveh Sarhangpour, can complete the surgery needed to remove the bladder stones. She needs the surgery sooner than later.

Meozer is currently 18.5lbs and the hope is that post surgery she will be a little more active and get back to 16lbs. Only 2 lbs heavier than her adoption weight.

The funds raised will go directly towards Meozer's bladder stone removal surgery.
