Frequent Flier Miles to the Operating Room

Oh wow. This is a tough post to write as I'm not really one to ask for much. This year has been super humbling! I've faced a fractured collarbone, hysterectomy, diagnosis of a rare autoimmune disease, and now major surgery on my neck. I'm definitely earning frequent flier miles in the operating room. I've been putting this surgery off since it's 8 weeks out of work. According to the spinal surgeon, It's time! I don't want to sing you a sad, sappy Taylor Swift song but I am, indeed, scared. The holidays are rapidly approaching and to be immobilized for my favorite time of the year breaks my little heart. If you know me, you know I work hard. If you know me, you know I'm a fighter. I'm a giver. Unfortunately, this is my time to ask for help and support in what is (hopefully) my last trip to the OR. Since my savings account was depleted after my collarbone injury, I'm asking for help with uncovered medical expenses as well as living expenses. I am embarrassed asking for help and I am also truly humbled. Thank you for loving me and supporting me and for the people who have always had my back! I know the Lord has control but this is me.......totally exposed...
