JAMARION ROBINSON’S STORY
My name is Monteria Robinson. I AM THE MOTHER OF JAMARION ROBINSON!!! My son was shot 76 times in Atlanta, Georgia by a Fugitive Task Force on August 5, 2016.
WHO WAS JAMARION ROBINSON
Jamarion was born on April 1, 1990. Jamarion was the oldest of 8 grandchildren and he was very much admired by his younger cousins. Jamarion was a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a nephew and a grandson. At the time of his death, he was currently a student athlete at Tuskegee University where he majored in Political Science.
Jamarion was smart, intelligent, humorous, athletic, loving and caring to all those he encountered, especially his family. We called him Daddy Daycare because he loved children and would keep all his younger cousins, and his nephew. Jamarion was a former student athlete at Clark Atlanta University where he was recognized as Freshman Player of the year on the CAU Football Team. Jamarion was 26 years old at time of death.
WHAT HAPPENED TO JAMARION ROBINSON
On August 5, 2016, Jamarion Robinson was brutally killed in East Point, Georgia, by a federal task force, which comprised of U.S. Marshals and local law enforcement officers. The officers fired over 110 shots, hitting Jamarion 59 times, leaving 76 bullet holes in his body. They also used flashbangs grenades, continuing to fire upon his body even after he was incapacitated. Jamarion was not a threat that warranted such overwhelming force.

1. Jamarion was shot 6 times in the palm of right hand and 5 times in the left hand; all down his arms, his torso, his thighs, his groin, his rectum, his sheens, his feet.
2. After shooting him over 50 times two flash grenades were thrown which landed on his body
3. Slugs were found in the floor upstairs where Jamarion’s corpse lay indicating that someone stood over him and shot down into his body.

3. Aggravated Assault
4. Burglary In First Degree
5. 2 Counts of Making False Statement
6. 6 Counts of Violation of Oath of Public Officer
7. Aggravated Battery
WHAT IS OUTCOME OF CASE
Due to qualified immunity, the officers involved have evaded civil accountability, and due to sovereign immunity, the federal agencies responsible have faced no legal consequences. Even though officers involved in my son’s murder were indicted on October 26, 2021, my civil case was denied on June 4, 2024, which I was unaware of the verdict because my attorney never notified me. I did not discover verdict until February 2025 which was a devasting blow to me.
This is not everything, I then discovered in June 2025 that my first attorney that I had at the onset of my case did not file my state statue within a timely manner which statue had run its course causing me to receive $0 payout for my son’s case. The federal, state, and all entities involved owe me financial damages. I’ve never been unrepresented during my son’s case.
My son’s story never made national news due to the cover up and the heinous way that he was murdered. It’s been 10 years since his death but to me it feels like yesterday. The pain and trauma never go away. I suffer from PTSD; I need financial help with attorney fees and everyday living expenses. All donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!!
