We are launching this campaign to support Andrew Sherman — Colorado Rampage founder, owner, and longtime youth hockey coach — as he faces serious charges arising from an incident that occurred during a youth hockey practice.
Contributions will help cover Andrew’s legal defense expenses so he can fully participate in the legal process, respond to the allegations, and seek a fair and complete resolution in court.
On January 15, during a routine warm-up at a youth hockey practice, Andrew and a player made contact on the ice and both lost their balance, resulting in the player falling. The incident was captured by multiple cameras in the rink. The circumstances surrounding what occurred are now part of an active legal matter.
Andrew was subsequently arrested and charged relating to this incident. He denies any intent to cause harm and is committed to addressing the matter through the legal system.
This situation has been deeply difficult for Andrew, his family, and the many young athletes and families who have been part of our hockey community over the years. Whatever the outcome, Andrew deserves the opportunity to mount a full and proper legal defense.
If you choose to contribute, your support will go directly toward legal fees and related defense costs. Just as importantly, your encouragement means a great deal to Andrew and those close to him during this challenging time.
Thank you for your consideration and for supporting fairness, due process, and our community.
