My brother Jimmy is currently housed at Patton State Hospital in California. He has been approved to move to Canyon Manor in Novato, a step‑down rehabilitation program where he will be able to wear his own clothes, keep personal belongings, and participate in community outings.
The challenge is timing. We don’t know when a bed will open up at Canyon Manor, but once it does, Jimmy will move within 48 hours. That means we need to be ready at any moment with the essentials he’ll need to start this next chapter with dignity and stability.
We are raising funds to cover basic clothing, bedding, and personal items, as well as a few meaningful “nice‑to‑have” items that support creativity, comfort, and emotional wellbeing (e.g., art supplies and media player, earbuds, etc.).
How you can help:
Thank you for supporting Jimmy during this important transition. Your generosity helps ensure that when the door opens for him, he steps into it prepared, supported, and cared for.
