Homeless Mother with 3 Children

Hi, my name is Rossel, and I’m a mother of three beautiful children—ages 3, 4, and 7. We are currently homeless and living in heartbreaking conditions. I never imagined having to write something like this, but we’ve fallen on incredibly hard times and urgently need your help.

Every day is a struggle to find enough food to feed my children. Some nights, they go to sleep hungry. As a mother, there is no worse pain than watching your little ones ask for food you cannot give. My youngest two are too small to understand what’s happening, but my oldest—my 7-year-old son—is deeply affected.

He’s heartbroken that he can’t return to second grade because I can’t afford the costs of school materials, transportation, or even basic clothing. He’s falling behind in his learning, and it breaks my heart to see how much this has dimmed his spirit. He used to love reading and math. Now he feels left out, ashamed, and forgotten.

We are not looking for a handout—we’re praying for a hand-up.
