They Are Safe. But have a long road ahead.

We finally have the most amazing news to share. All my family members are safe.

After days of silence filled with fear and uncertainty, we received confirmation that they are okay. Although we have yet to speak to them all directly, knowing they are alive brings an indescribable sense of relief. For the first time in days, we can breathe again.

But alongside that relief comes a heartbreaking truth.

They have lost everything! Their homes, their belongings, their memories, and entire communities are gone. What remains is the painful reality of having to start over from nothing. The road to recovery will be long and overwhelming. While we are deeply thankful for their safety, our hearts ache for everything that’s been lost.

So many of you have reached out with love, concern, and kindness, asking how you can help. Your support means more than I could ever express.
