My name is Jenna Couch, I’m a pastor, wife, mother and activist and I need your help to found a new ministry. Next week I am beginning a coaching cohort called The Queer Career Reinvention Lab where I will be receiving personalized coaching, career counseling, and accountability and support. The Queer Career Reinvention Lab was founded by Katie Brunner with the purpose of helping people to start new creative inventions on their own. In this 8 week program there are four basic parts.

1. Career Reality Audit

• Identify what actually burned you out and what your authentic work identity looks like.
• Deliverables:  Career Reality Audit, Professional Strengths Inventory, Career Values Blueprint

2. Identity Reclamation

• Rebuild your authentic queer professional voice
• Deliverables: Queer Professional Identity Statement, Confidence + visibility work, Community Feedback Loops

3. Possibility Expansion

• Map career paths outside corporate conditioning.
• Deliverables: Career Path Visibility Map, Creative Pathway Exploration 

4. Exit Strategy

• Build a real transition plan. 
• Deliverables: Career Transition Roadmap, 90-Day Action Plan, Accountability System

The end goal, then, is to use this training to develop an inclusive, faith-based sexuality education ministry that equips me to create and teach shame-free, body-positive resources for ministry settings. Whether through adapting existing frameworks or building an original curriculum of my own, my vision is to offer compassionate, affirming education that helps youth and adults explore sexuality, relationships, identity, and faith without fear or shame. This work will focus on helping people heal the divide between spirituality and sexuality by creating spaces where both can be honored as sacred, healthy parts of human life.
