A member of our family recently underwent a major hip replacement surgery. While the procedure went well, her recovery has come with some serious challenges. She is currently displaced and in urgent need of a stable place to live so she can continue to heal and commit to physical therapy.
We're trying to raise enough to cover a security deposit and first month’s rent for a safe, apartment that’s accessible and suitable for her recovery needs.
If you’ve ever known someone who’s had a major surgery like this, it’s a pretty brutal surgery, and rehabilitation is crucial for the healing process. physically—so it is a must to have a stable, secure home environment for her.
