I am raising money due to a family emergency. It's inevitable, the decline that comes with my dad's Parkinson's Dementia. We are trying to balance keeping life insurance paid, and bills as well.

A few year's ago my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Over the years, his tremors have increased, and he had started showing some cognitive impairment. It wasn't until December 31st, 2024 that things took a major turn for the worst. We got an unexpected call informing me that my dad had been involved in a car accident. He was very confused, had a major change in his cognitive abilities, and became unfit to take care of himself. We immediately moved him into our home without hesitation. In the 7-8 months that he's been with us, we have noticed severe decline in his everyday tasks, fine motor skills, and cognitive abilities. On August 3rd, 2025, he woke up in a lot of pain, unable to walk, severely confused, unable to speak sentences, unable to swallow his medications, etc. He was transported to the local hospital where they have done several radiology tests, blood tests, physical and speech therapy, etc. He is now unable to return home due to his severe decline and the extended care that he is going to need from here on out. We are starting this fundraiser to ensure that we are able to keep his life insurance paid, his medical bills (ambulance rides, co-pays/co-insurance) and put something towards his long term care, to ensure he gets the best care that he deserves. We will also be using our gas to get to/from the hospital while he's there.
We understand if you cannot financially donate -- if prayers are all you can offer, we are forever grateful.
