We have developed an innovative solution, eSherpa Mode (18/493,780 Pat. Pend.), that allows an EV to connect to a motorhome like a plug-in hybrid extension. During the ride, the EV is on and in Drive. All built-in safety systems for the electric motor and the high-voltage battery work as expected. The driver is not in the EV's seat, but rather in the motorhome's captain's chair, giving them full visibility and control over the towed EV.
Our goal is to have one product that is available for an EV that is widely available. To achieve this, we need to test further on a newer model and create baseplates that a simple shop can also install.
