Unfortunately he's not going to make it. We're going to get him at 10:00. We'll bring him home and see how he does. Most likely bring him to Bulger to say goodbye tomorrow

Blaze was taken to the ER at Bulger Veterinary Hospital last Thursday for an ultrasound of his kidneys. We came home with antibiotics, anti nausea, GI med, and appetite stimulant. We had a follow up with our primary care vet on Monday and his blood work showed immediate need for aggressive care for his kidneys and we took him back and admitted him to the ICU at Bulger after testing positive for Lepto.

We are hoping the pet insurance will help cover the bulk of the $10k we have already accumulated, but now Blaze needs to extend his stay in the ICU by a few more days which is looking roughly like another $6k.

Those who know me personally know my dogs are my kids and I will do everything I possibly can for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated is the largest understatement of the year.
