2026 Thankful Hearts "Take-N-Bake"

Neighbors helping neighbors have a wonderful Thanksgiving Meal with their family!

Thankful Hearts was founded on a simple but powerful idea: every family deserves the opportunity to experience Thanksgiving in their own home, gathered around their own table and continuing their own traditions. What began over a decade ago as a conversation about the financial strain of a single holiday meal has grown into a community driven nonprofit serving hundreds of individuals each year.

From an initial goal of helping just 10 families, Thankful Hearts has expanded through the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of supporters to now provide full Thanksgiving meals to around 150 families annually. In 2026, we are working to reach our goal once again to serve 150 families in our community.

Our Take N Bake model equips families with everything they need to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal at home. A donation of $125 sponsors a large family and provides essential ingredients including a turkey, ham, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, green beans, corn, rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken, yams, potatoes, onions, sugar, tea, butter, bread, and rolls.
